What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address and a bcrypt-hashed password. We never store your plaintext password.

We track daily action counts per user to enforce free-tier limits. We do not log the content of your commands, Reddit activity, or browsing history.

How the extension works

Reddit Agent is a Chrome extension that operates in your browser. When you send a command:

• Your message is sent to our backend, which forwards it to the Anthropic Claude API to generate a response.
• If the response includes tool calls (e.g., "navigate to a subreddit"), those are executed locally in your browser by the extension. Our servers never access your Reddit account.
• We do not store your Reddit credentials, cookies, or session data.

Third-party services

• Anthropic (Claude API) — processes your commands. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Stripe — handles payments. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Telegram (optional) — if you link Telegram, we store your Telegram chat ID to route messages. We do not access your Telegram contacts or other data.

Data storage

Your account data is stored in a SQLite database on our server. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties beyond the services listed above.

Cookies

We do not use cookies. Authentication is handled via JWT tokens stored in the extension's local storage and browser localStorage on the landing page.
